Tips on Anti-Bullying

November 14th to 18th is Anti-Bullying Week and we are celebrating with lots of fun activities. We are also holding a BLUE Day on Friday 18th to show that we stand up for anyone who is being bullied. This is a great opportunity to speak to your child about bullying and how to deal with it if it happens. The following explanation shows the difference between bullying and bad behaviour.

RUDE= If someone says or does something that is unintentionally hurtful, and they only do it once, they are being RUDE!

MEAN: If someone says or does something that is intentionally hurtful, and they only do it once, they are being MEAN!

BULLYING: If someone says or does something that is intentionally hurtful, and they keep on doing it , that is BULLYING!
